About 30 Ukrainian servicemen will take part in international exercises in Georgia

On July 30, Georgia began international NATO exercise “A Decent Partner 2017”. The last batch of US military equipment, fighting vehicles Stryker, arrived in the port of Poti.

To participate in the exercises along with the equipment, Alexeyevka military airport received another stream of servicemen from the European command of the United States.

The international exercises, which are held for the third time, will be attended by the military from Georgia, the United States, Britain, Germany, Ukraine, Armenia, Slovenia and Turkey.

“The goal of the” Decent partner 2017 “training is to improve the skills in stability, defense or attack operations, increase the military interoperability of the armed forces of NATO members and partners, develop the training capabilities of the NATO Response Force and deepen cooperation between the participating countries,” the Georgian Defense Ministry reported. .
